After a foggy start to the day on Saturday the skies cleared for a brilliant day! With our first ever 5 game day and other activities and events, it was great to see such a positive atmosphere around the club.
Well done to our Seniors, U19 B and U19 W for great wins!
All our teams helped raise awareness for MND and wore their Sockit2MND socks.
We had a wonderful turn out at the Ladies Day event. Matt Larkin singing was a hit (at times the ladies drowned him out) and Madi Browne (Australian netball champion) was a very interesting and funny guest speaker.
The BJFC U9 footballers joined us for a grid game and a chance to meet the Senior players. The Juniors absolutely loved it, as did the Seniors, and our young footballers got to be with the Senior players before the game, hear the pre-game speech and join in the post-game celebration song.
Our Women’s team also played our first game under our new lights!
Thank you everyone involved for helping create an amazing day of football.
